ASICS Japan Sneaker Size-Level Pricing, Sale & Availability Dataset
ASICS's own Japanese store — its home market — captured size by size, with 24 columns covering tax-inclusive price, a sale flag, colour variant, gender, upper material, outsole, country of origin and a matched run of sizes and availability.
The sale flag is what sets this file apart. In the supplied sample 11 of 50 colourways were on sale, and you can see which sizes were left on each one when the markdown landed — the clearest signal of where the brand is clearing.
The file already exists, because this pipeline runs every other day whether you buy it or not. Most vendors start collecting after you order — which is why they quote a lead time. Here the most recent file is in your account within minutes of payment, with an API key issued at the same time.
What you get, in plain terms
Four things. Take this file to watch markdowns land in ASICS's home market, and on which sizes.
Every size, with its own stock flag
The size run and the availability run arrive as matched pipe-separated lists — size 3 lines up with availability 3. One row tells you exactly which sizes can be bought, not just whether the shoe can.
Sale flag on every row
Sale is True or False and Tag reads “Sale” where marked down. 11 of 50 sampled colourways carried it — you see markdowns as they land.
Upper material and origin
Upper and Country of Origin are populated on every sampled row — Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia — which is rare on a brand's own store.
However you want it
Direct download, REST API, Amazon S3, Google Cloud, Snowflake or SFTP. The API key comes with the dataset.
Fields included in this dataset
All 24 columns, in the exact order they appear in the file — taken straight from the sample, not from a brochure. The free sample ships with a data dictionary giving an example value for each one.
Sample rows from the real file
Real rows from the sample file, not an illustration. The free sample is 50 colourways with all 24 columns.
Coverage
Captured every other day across ASICS Japan's online footwear catalogue. Sizes and availability arrive as two matched pipe-separated lists on the same row, so one row holds the full size run of a colourway. Note the separator here is a double pipe.
| Metric | In the supplied sample | What it tells you |
|---|---|---|
| Colourways on sale | 11 of 50 | Where ASICS is actively clearing |
| Size slots buyable | 486 of 653 (74%) | Deeper than adidas's own store, leaner than a retailer's |
| Complete size runs | 16 of 50 | Most colourways already have gaps |
| Gender split | 23 unisex · 18 men · 9 kids | Kids sizing captured as its own segment |
| Country of origin | Vietnam 21 · Indonesia/Vietnam 13 · Indonesia 9 · Cambodia 7 | Populated on every row |

Historical data
The last 30 days come with the dataset. Beyond that we hold ASICS Japan records from February 2025 onwards — enough to see a full season's markdown cycle.

We can extend this dataset beyond the standard 24 columns — a populated pre-discount price is the most requested fix, along with one row per size and launch-date capture.

What people use this dataset for
Footwear brands
See which of your sizes sell through first at each retailer and where the size curve is broken.
Merchandising and planning
Feed real size-level sell-through into buys and allocations instead of guessing the curve.
Pricing and markdown teams
Track price and markdown timing model by model against the size depth left on the shelf.
Resale and market analysts
Spot which models and sizes run out fastest — the leading signal for secondary-market demand.
About ASICS Japan sneaker data
ASICS is a Japanese brand, and its home-market store is where its pricing and clearance decisions show first. A direct-to-consumer feed from the brand's own site tells you what ASICS is marking down and what it is holding at full price.
Markdowns, with the size context
Sale flagged 11 of 50 sampled colourways. On its own that is a list of discounted shoes; paired with the size run on the same row, it shows which sizes were left when the markdown landed. A colourway cleared with only the extreme sizes remaining is a very different signal from one cleared with a full run.
Construction detail is actually populated
Upper and Country of Origin came through on every sampled row — synthetic leather and fibre, made in Vietnam, Indonesia or Cambodia. That is rare on a brand store and useful for sourcing and compliance work.
Two things to plan for
Price arrives as displayed — “22,000(税込)”, tax-inclusive with a comma — so strip non-digits before casting. Sizes and availability use a double pipe separator, unlike our other sneaker files. And Price Before Discount and Tag Text were empty on every sampled row, so the markdown depth is not yet captured, only the fact of it.
Is collecting this data legal?
Collecting publicly visible product and price information is generally lawful in most jurisdictions. Actowiz collects only public pages, respects robots.txt and platform terms, holds no personal data, and aligns with GDPR and CCPA. We are ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certified, and this dataset carries documented provenance so your legal team can review the source before you buy.
Frequently asked questions
Sale tells you a colourway is marked down, but Price Before Discount came through empty on every sampled row, so the original price is not captured. It is the most requested fix on this file.
