Croma India Daily Electronics Product & Pricing Dataset
A daily file of the Croma catalogue — Tata's electronics retail chain — with 25 columns covering price, MRP, discount, sold-out status, ratings, promised arrival date and a structured three-level category hierarchy.
Electronics pricing behaves differently from most retail: discounts are deep and MRP is often notional. In the supplied sample a phone listed at ₹1,00,000 MRP was selling at ₹59,999, a 40% gap — while other listings sat at full MRP with no discount at all.
The file already exists, because this pipeline runs every morning whether you buy it or not. Most vendors start collecting after you order — which is why they quote a lead time. Here the most recent file is in your account within minutes of payment, with an API key issued at the same time.
What you get, in plain terms
Four things. If any of them is not what you expected, the sample will show you before you spend anything.
MRP against actual price
Both captured on every row, so you can measure the gap rather than trust the headline. In electronics that gap is where the whole story is.
Category tree as structured JSON
category_hierarchy arrives as l1/l2/l3 — Phones & Wearables → Mobile Phones → Android Phones — rather than a breadcrumb string you have to split.
Sold-out status and ratings
Thirty of the fifty listings in the supplied sample were sold out, which in consumer durables is a supply signal as much as a demand one.
However you want it
Direct download, REST API, Amazon S3, Google Cloud, Snowflake or SFTP. The API key comes with the dataset.
Fields included in this dataset
All 25 columns, in the exact order they appear in the file — this list is taken straight from the sample, not from a brochure. The free sample ships with a data dictionary giving an example value for each one.
Sample rows from the real file
Real rows from the sample file, not an illustration. The free sample is 50 listings with all 25 columns.

Historical data
The last 30 days come with the dataset. Beyond that we hold Croma records from June 2025 onwards — enough to cover a full festive season, which in consumer durables is when almost all the price movement happens.

We can extend this dataset beyond the standard 25 columns — store-level stock and exchange or bank offer capture are the most requested additions, along with competitor SKU matching against Reliance Digital and Vijay Sales.

About Croma electronics data
Croma is Tata's electronics retail chain and one of the two largest organised players in Indian consumer durables. Because electronics pricing is driven by manufacturer schemes, exchange offers and bank promotions rather than simple markdowns, the gap between MRP and street price carries more information here than in most categories.
Why MRP and price both matter
MRP in Indian electronics is frequently notional — set high so the discount reads well. In the supplied sample one phone showed a 40% gap between MRP and selling price while another sat at full MRP with no discount at all, both in the same sub-category. Measuring either number alone tells you very little; the gap between them is the signal.
Reading sold-out status in consumer durables
Thirty of the fifty sampled listings were flagged sold out. In fashion that would suggest demand; in electronics it more often reflects channel supply, model transitions and allocation. Use it as a supply indicator and pair it with arrival_date, which tells you whether the retailer still expects to fulfil.
Why ratings are thin here
Only 19 of 50 sampled listings carried any rating at all. Indian electronics buyers review far less than apparel or beauty buyers, and high-value models often launch with none. Treat avg_rating as a weak signal in this category and lean on price and availability instead.
Is collecting this data legal?
Collecting publicly visible product and price information is generally lawful in most jurisdictions. Actowiz collects only public pages, respects robots.txt and platform terms, holds no personal data, and aligns with GDPR and CCPA. We are ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certified, and this dataset carries documented provenance so your legal team can review the source before you buy.
Frequently asked questions
shipping_charges, page_url and position came through empty across the whole sample. The first two do not apply to this source; position is populated on search-sourced rows. Check the sample before buying.
