Dr. Martens Catalogue, Size-Level Stock & Markdown Dataset
Dr. Martens' US catalogue captured size by size — 30 columns covering list price, final price, the discount in dollars, stock flag, colour, size, category path, ratings and image URLs.
The sample is a markdown picture: 42 of 50 size rows carried a discount, up to $105 off a $280 boot, while 20 of 50 sizes were already out of stock — the classic end-of-run pattern.
The file already exists, because this pipeline runs once a month whether you buy it or not. Most vendors start collecting after you order — which is why they quote a lead time. Here the most recent file is in your account within minutes of payment, with an API key issued at the same time.
What you get, in plain terms
Four things. An iconic boot brand where the size run breaks long before the style disappears.
One row per size and colour
The file is at variant level, not product level: every size and colourway of a style is its own row with its own SKU and stock flag, so you can see exactly which sizes are still buyable.
List price and final price side by side
Price is the list price, Final Price what a shopper pays and Discount the saving in dollars, so markdown depth is a subtraction, not a guess.
Ratings next to availability
Num Ratings and Average Ratings sit on the row, so a style's popularity can be read against what is left in each size.
However you want it

Fields included in this dataset
All 30 columns, in the exact order they appear in the file — taken straight from the sample, not from a brochure. The free sample ships with a data dictionary giving an example value for each one.
Sample rows from the real file
Real rows from the sample file, not an illustration. The supplied sample has 50 variant rows with all 30 columns.
Coverage
Captured monthly across drmartens.com's US site. One row is one size-colour variant, identified by its SKU, with the style in PID.
| Metric | In the supplied sample | What it tells you |
|---|---|---|
| Variant rows | 50 across 7 styles | Boots, loafers and socks |
| Discounted rows | 42 of 50 | Savings of $40 to $105 |
| Deepest cut | $280 → $175 (37.5%) | Made in England line |
| Out of stock | 20 of 50 size rows | Broken size runs on discounted styles |
| Price range | $14 – $280 | Socks through premium boots |
| Ratings | 48 of 50 rows | Average 4.22 |

Historical data
The last 30 days come with the dataset. Beyond that we hold Dr. Martens records from February 2025 onwards.

We can extend this dataset beyond the standard 30 columns — a populated sale flag and leather type pulled from the description are the most requested additions.

About Dr. Martens catalogue data
Dr. Martens sells boots, shoes and accessories worldwide from its own site, with a catalogue built on a few iconic silhouettes in many leathers and colourways. That structure makes size-level capture essential: the 1460 exists in dozens of versions, each with its own size run.
Markdowns and broken runs together
42 of 50 sampled rows were discounted and 20 were out of stock — often the same styles. Discount gives the saving in dollars ($40.01, $55.01, $70.01, $105.01 in the sample), so depth and sell-through can be read side by side.
Unisex sizing, with gender recorded
Category paths read “Unisex/Featured Collections” and “Unisex/Made In England”, while Gender carries WOMEN or MEN on 42 of 50 rows. Both are useful: one is how the brand merchandises, the other how the size runs.
Two things to plan for
IsOnSale, Keywords, Manufacturer and UPC or EAN came through empty on every sampled row, so compare Price with Final Price. Gender is blank on the 8 accessory rows.
Is collecting this data legal?
Collecting publicly visible product and price information is generally lawful in most jurisdictions. Actowiz collects only public pages, respects robots.txt and platform terms, holds no personal data, and aligns with GDPR and CCPA. We are ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certified, and this dataset carries documented provenance so your legal team can review the source before you buy.
