Kate Spade Catalogue, Markdown & Size-Level Stock Dataset
Kate Spade's US catalogue captured size by size — 30 columns covering list price, sale price, the discount in dollars, sale flag, stock flag, colour, size, category path, ratings and images.
This is a promotion-led brand, and the sample shows it: 46 of 50 rows were on sale — bridal sandals cut from $198 to $160, sneakers from $148 to $118 — across shoes, accessories and home décor.
The file already exists, because this pipeline runs once a month whether you buy it or not. Most vendors start collecting after you order — which is why they quote a lead time. Here the most recent file is in your account within minutes of payment, with an API key issued at the same time.
What you get, in plain terms
Four things. A brand that runs on promotions, captured where the discount actually lands.
One row per size and colour
The file is at variant level, not product level: every size and colourway of a style is its own row with its own SKU and stock flag, so you can see exactly which sizes are still buyable.
List price and final price side by side
Price is the list price, Final Price what a shopper pays and Discount the saving in dollars, so markdown depth is a subtraction, not a guess.
Ratings next to availability
Num Ratings and Average Ratings sit on the row, so a style's popularity can be read against what is left in each size.
However you want it
Direct download, REST API, Amazon S3, Google Cloud, Snowflake or SFTP. The API key comes with the dataset.
Fields included in this dataset
All 30 columns, in the exact order they appear in the file — taken straight from the sample, not from a brochure. The free sample ships with a data dictionary giving an example value for each one.
Sample rows from the real file
Real rows from the sample file, not an illustration. The supplied sample has 50 variant rows with all 30 columns.
Coverage
Captured monthly across katespade.com. One row is one size-colour variant, identified by its SKU, with the style in PID.
| Metric | In the supplied sample | What it tells you |
|---|---|---|
| Variant rows | 50 across 11 styles | Shoes, pet collars, home, umbrellas |
| On sale | 46 of 50 rows | IsOnSale and Discount agree |
| Savings recorded | $3.95 to $38 | In dollars, not percent |
| Categories | Sale/Shoes 26 · Sneakers 10 · Sandals 7 | Plus home décor |
| Out of stock | 7 of 50 size rows | Mostly the smallest sizes |
| Ratings | On all 50 rows | Average 4.39 |

Historical data
The last 30 days come with the dataset. Beyond that we hold Kate Spade records from February 2025 onwards.

We can extend this dataset beyond the standard 30 columns — promotion start dates derived from the monthly series is the most requested addition.

About Kate Spade catalogue data
Kate Spade sells handbags, shoes, jewellery and home pieces through its own US site, with a promotional calendar that rarely stops. That makes markdown depth, not list price, the thing worth tracking.
Promotion is the default
Forty-six of 50 sampled rows were discounted, with savings from $3.95 on a pet collar to $38 on bridal sandals. Here IsOnSale and Discount are both populated and agree with the arithmetic — unlike several other retailers in this catalogue.
More than fashion
The sample spanned bridal sandals, sneakers, a cat umbrella, candle sets, toasting flutes and pet collars. The home and gift range carries its own category path, so it can be analysed separately from footwear and bags.
Two things to plan for
UPC or EAN is style-level rather than variant-level — 50 rows carried 9 barcodes — so use SKU as the key. Size is empty on the 7 accessory and home rows, and Gender mixes “Women”, “WOMENS” and “Unisex”, so normalise the case.
Is collecting this data legal?
Collecting publicly visible product and price information is generally lawful in most jurisdictions. Actowiz collects only public pages, respects robots.txt and platform terms, holds no personal data, and aligns with GDPR and CCPA. We are ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certified, and this dataset carries documented provenance so your legal team can review the source before you buy.
Frequently asked questions
IsOnSale and Discount are populated and agree with Price minus Final Price on the sampled rows.
UPC or EAN is shared across sizes and colours of a style (9 barcodes across 50 rows). Use SKU, which is unique per variant.
