New Balance Catalogue, Width-Level Sizing & Stock Dataset
New Balance is the brand that made width part of shoe sizing, and this file captures that — 30 columns covering price, stock flag, category path, colour, size with width (“10-Wide (2E)”), ratings and images.
The sample is a sell-through picture from the golf range: 40 of 50 rows were out of stock at $54.99 to $134.99, with no markdowns anywhere — demand clearing stock rather than price doing it.
The file already exists, because this pipeline runs once a month whether you buy it or not. Most vendors start collecting after you order — which is why they quote a lead time. Here the most recent file is in your account within minutes of payment, with an API key issued at the same time.
What you get, in plain terms
Four things. Width is a real size dimension here, and this file keeps it.
Size and width together
Size reads “8-Standard (B)” or “10-Wide (2E)”, so the width range New Balance is known for is visible rather than flattened away.
One row per size and colour
The file is at variant level, not product level: every size and colourway of a style is its own row with its own SKU and stock flag, so you can see exactly which sizes are still buyable.
Ratings next to availability
Num Ratings and Average Ratings sit on the row, so a style's popularity can be read against what is left in each size.
However you want it

Fields included in this dataset
All 30 columns, in the exact order they appear in the file — taken straight from the sample, not from a brochure. The free sample ships with a data dictionary giving an example value for each one.
Sample rows from the real file
Real rows from the sample file, not an illustration. The supplied sample has 50 variant rows with all 30 columns.
Coverage
Captured monthly across newbalance.com. One row is one size-width-colour variant, identified by its SKU, with the style in PID.

Historical data

We can extend this dataset beyond the standard 30 columns — size and width split into separate columns is the most requested change, along with a populated discount field.

About New Balance catalogue data
New Balance sells running, lifestyle and sports footwear plus apparel, and is unusual in offering multiple widths across much of its range. Any dataset that drops width loses the thing that distinguishes the brand.
Sold out at full price
Forty of 50 sampled rows were unavailable, all at list price with no discounts recorded anywhere in the file. That combination — stock gone, price held — is the clearest demand signal a catalogue can give, and it is what a monthly series turns into a trend.
Width as a dimension
Size carries the width label inside it: “8-Standard (B)”, “10-Wide (2E)”. Split on the hyphen and you can ask which widths a competitor actually stocks, and which sell through first.
Two things to plan for
Discount, IsOnSale, Short Description, Keywords, Manufacturer and UPC or EAN came through empty on every sampled row. The sample is golf-heavy, so ask for a fuller one if you benchmark running or lifestyle.
Is collecting this data legal?
Collecting publicly visible product and price information is generally lawful in most jurisdictions. Actowiz collects only public pages, respects robots.txt and platform terms, holds no personal data, and aligns with GDPR and CCPA.
