Nykaa India Thrice a Day Product, Pricing & Category Dataset
The highest-frequency Nykaa file we run — three captures a day — with 25 columns covering price, MRP, discount, sold-out status, ratings, a structured category hierarchy, and the matching raw JSON price objects that preserve exactly what the platform returned.
Beauty pricing moves inside the day during sale events. Three readings give you the shape of a day rather than a single frame of it, which is the difference between catching a flash discount and missing it entirely.
The file already exists, because this pipeline runs three times a day whether you buy it or not. Most vendors start collecting after you order — which is why they quote a lead time. Here the most recent file is in your account within minutes of payment, with an API key issued at the same time.
What you get, in plain terms
Four things. This is the file for sale periods and automated repricing — for daily reporting a lighter cadence is enough.
Three readings every day
Morning, afternoon and evening. Flash discounts during Pink Friday activate and expire inside a single day and a once-daily crawl records neither.
Category tree as structured JSON
category_hierarchy arrives as l1/l2/l3 rather than a breadcrumb string you have to split.
Raw JSON price objects kept alongside
product_price_json, mrp_json, discount_json and shipping_charges_json preserve the structure as captured, so nothing is lost when a listing prices unusually.
However you want it
Direct download, REST API, Amazon S3, Google Cloud, Snowflake or SFTP. The API key comes with the dataset.
Fields included in this dataset
All 25 columns, in the exact order they appear in the file — taken straight from the sample, not from a brochure. The free sample ships with a data dictionary giving an example value for each one.
Sample rows from the real file
Real rows from the sample file, not an illustration. The free sample is 50 listings with all 25 columns.
Coverage
Captured three times a day across the catalogue on your feed. The table below describes what each capture slot is for.
| Capture slot | Local time | What it catches | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|---|
| Slot 1 | 06:00 – 08:00 | Overnight repricing and restocks | Most price changes land here |
| Slot 2 | 13:00 – 15:00 | Midday deal activations | Flash offers often start at noon |
| Slot 3 | 19:00 – 21:00 | Evening peak and stock-outs | Highest traffic, most sell-through |
| All slots | — | Merged into one daily file | Each row carries its own timestamp |
Three captures is the cadence, not the coverage. Catalogue size is what drives the price — tell us which categories or product list matters and we will quote it.
Historical data
The last 30 days come with the dataset, at full three-times-daily granularity. Beyond that we hold Nykaa records from February 2025 onwards.

We can extend this dataset beyond the standard 25 columns — shade-level rows with their own price and stock status is the most requested addition in beauty, along with the Luxe storefront flagged separately.

Watch discount depth shift within a sub-category through a sale window.
Analysts
Category-level price and rating series for the largest specialist beauty retailer in India.
About intraday Nykaa pricing
Nykaa's pricing is not a daily decision, particularly around its sale events. Deals activate at fixed times, competitors reprice through the afternoon, and stock clears in the evening peak. A once-daily crawl records one frame of that and calls it the day.
What three captures a day actually buys you
The ability to see a change that reverses. A flash discount that runs from noon to eight is invisible to a morning-only crawl, and so is a competitor who quietly raises price overnight. If you are running automated repricing or monitoring a sale period, this is the cadence that matches the behaviour you are trying to measure.
What the JSON price columns are for
product_price_json, mrp_json, discount_json and shipping_charges_json preserve the structure as captured, including cases where a listing prices by shade or bundles shipping unusually. The flat columns are what you will query day to day; the JSON columns are there so nothing is discarded.
A note on the supplied sample file
The sample CSV for this feed currently has a quoting fault: unescaped commas and quotes inside the JSON columns shift the remaining fields out of alignment on most rows. The field list on this page is correct and the live feed is not affected, but please ask us for a regenerated sample before you build against it rather than working around the broken one.
