How Actowiz delivered a one-time, unified dataset of public product and review data from Walmart.com and Walmart.ca for a UK consumer-insights company.
A client needing comparable Walmart product and review data from two countries for shopper research.
Actowiz collected public Walmart product and review data from Walmart US (Walmart.com) and Walmart Canada (Walmart.ca) for an existing client, a UK shopper-research and consumer-insights company. The one-time project produced a single, comparable dataset of product details, prices, ratings and review text, tagged by country site, with no reviewer personal data.
The client, an existing Actowiz customer, contacted us on 7 September 2026 with a one-off requirement. They wanted product information and customer reviews from Walmart in both the US and Canada so their research team could compare how shoppers in each market rate and describe the same kinds of products.
The project kicked off on 25 September 2026. Scope covered [Add product categories from delivery team] and [Add SKU / review count from delivery team]. Reviews were limited to the review text, rating and date – no reviewer names or profiles.
We built a scoped, one-time collection with a shared schema for both country sites.
