The Challenge

Navratri Mega Sale Price Tracking

The client was already an Actowiz customer, tracking pricing and availability data across major Indian Q-Commerce platforms (Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart). The intelligence was working: the brand team caught pricing inconsistencies, stockouts, and competitor launches faster than before.

But the team was missing data from four additional platforms that had become commercially meaningful: Amazon (for general e-commerce overlap), Blinkit (extended catalog coverage), Gryftr (a fast-growing fashion + lifestyle platform), and Woohoo (gift cards + voucher commerce). Each had different category dynamics, different competitive sets, and different customer cohorts.

The brand's leadership had reached a clear realization: a fragmented data view was worse than no data, because it created false confidence. They needed all four platforms in the same dashboard as the existing Q-Com data.

The Approach

Actowiz Solutions extended the existing data extraction pipeline to add the four new platforms:

  1. Catalog mapping across all four new platforms — identifying which of the client's 200 hero SKUs were available on each, at what variants
  2. Pricing extraction at multiple times per day, normalized for promotional codes and platform-specific discounts
  3. Availability and stockout tracking by pincode where pincode-level data was visible
  4. Competitor SKU tracking — top 5 competing brands' SKUs on each platform
  5. Unified dashboard integrating the new platforms with the existing Q-Com dataset

The Solution Architecture

The four new platforms each had different catalog structures and access patterns. The pipeline used Actowiz's existing infrastructure (proxy management, distributed scraping, schema normalization) to bring the new data into the same dashboard architecture the client's team was already using daily.

Output included a master view (all platforms, all SKUs) plus platform-specific drilldowns for deep analysis when needed.

Results

  • 200 SKUs tracked across 4 new platforms (in addition to the existing Q-Com coverage), creating 800+ new SKU-platform monitoring combinations
  • Identified pricing inconsistencies on Amazon where unauthorized 3P sellers were undercutting the brand's authorized pricing — flagged within 48 hours of listing
  • Caught a competitor launch on Gryftr 5 weeks earlier than the brand's internal sales team caught it through traditional sell-through analysis
  • Mapped category dynamics on Woohoo that informed the brand's gift-card and voucher commerce strategy for the upcoming festive season
  • Unified dashboard saved ~12 hours per week of analyst time previously spent reconciling data across separate platform tools
