Anyone can see a prescription medicine's page and price. Only a prescription can buy it. We collect the first and never touch the second.

Netmeds data scraping covers medicine, wellness and personal care data from the Indian online pharmacy majority-owned by Reliance Retail since 2020. Prescription medicines are listed openly, with MRP and discount, but ordering requires a prescription. So listing, price and the stated requirement are recorded, and no prescription is ever uploaded and no order placed. Delivery is checked by pincode. No patient data, no prescriptions and no individual health information are collected, and reviews that disclose a condition are excluded.

Indian e-pharmacies publish more about prescription medicines than most countries allow. What is published is data; what is gated stays gated.

Indian online pharmacies show prescription medicines with their MRP and selling price, and ask for a prescription at ordering.

India's rules specific to e-pharmacies had not been finalised at the time of writing, so the record keeps what each site states rather than what a rule might require.

Netmeds was reported to have opened its first physical store in September 2026. Where stores appear on the site, they are recorded as they are published.
