UK domestic tariffs are shaped by the regulator's quarterly price cap. For 1 October to 31 December 2026 the cap was set at £1,723 a year for a typical dual-fuel direct-debit household, 4% above the previous period, announced on 26 August 2026, with published components of 26.32p per kWh and 54.83p a day for electricity and 7.97p per kWh and 29.68p a day for gas. Rates are published by region and payment method. Records sit at site level with brand and operator as separate keys and an observed_at stamp on every row, nothing behind a login or an exchange licence is collected, and a site that disappears is confirmed across runs before it is called a closure.

The annual figure moves for reasons that are not price, so components are the deliverable and the total is not.
