Amazon.ae Data Scraping Services

Where an import fees deposit sits beside the price on cross-border listings, and most datasets drop it.

Amazon.ae data scraping is the automated collection of publicly visible Amazon.ae data for the UAE — with the import fees deposit captured on cross-border listings, Arabic and English listings deduplicated, full offer lists with seller identity, and VAT treatment recorded.

A cross-border listing on Amazon.ae shows an import fees deposit alongside the price. Drop that field and your cheapest-offer analysis picks an offer that costs materially more than the local one it beat.

Free pilot on your own Amazon.ae list, returned in 24 hours. No card, no trial clock — and you keep the sample data either way.

What makes Amazon.ae different from other Amazon storefronts

These are the reasons a Amazon.ae dataset needs its own handling rather than a shared retail schema.

The import fees deposit changes which offer wins

Many Amazon.ae listings are fulfilled cross-border, and those show an import fees deposit as a separate displayed amount. It is part of what the customer pays at checkout.

Why dropping it breaks the analysis

  • Cheapest-offer logic inverts. A cross-border offer priced below a local one can be more expensive once the deposit is added.
  • It varies by product, driven by category and value, so a flat assumption is wrong per line.
  • Lead times differ too, so the cheaper cross-border offer is also slower.
  • Brands cannot see grey flow without it, since cross-border offers are where unauthorised supply often sits.

We capture import_fees_deposit and compute landed_price where the deposit is displayed, alongside is_cross_border and quoted lead time. Where no deposit is shown we record that as null rather than zero, since absent and zero are different facts.

This is the same reasoning as cross-border sellers on Lazada and Allegro, except here the platform helpfully publishes the number — and almost every dataset throws it away.

Arabic and English listings for one product

Bilingual markets produce duplicate listings, and the effect is the same as on Noon: counted separately, category competition looks inflated and your share of listings looks worse than it is.

  • Competitor counts inflate when one product appears twice.
  • Price distributions skew when the same price is counted twice.
  • Offer analysis double-counts sellers listing in both languages.

We match across scripts using transliteration, brand normalisation in both scripts, ASIN and model comparison, delivering a canonical identity with per-record confidence. Uncertain matches are flagged rather than merged, because a wrong merge hides a genuine second competitor.

Where the same ASIN carries both language variants, matching is straightforward. The harder cases are separate ASINs for what is commercially one product, and those are where the confidence score earns its place.

A market where Amazon is not the default

Most Amazon analysis assumes Amazon is the dominant channel. In the UAE it competes with a strong local rival, which changes what a brand needs from the data.

  • Cross-platform comparison matters more here than in markets where Amazon dominates.
  • The same seller often lists on both, so channel-control questions span platforms.
  • Price positioning differs by platform for the same product and seller.
  • Assortment differs, so presence on one and absence on the other is a real range decision.

We deliver records that join to our Noon collection on product identity and market, with seller identity on both sides so a seller operating across platforms is identifiable as one party. Analysing this market on Amazon data alone describes roughly half of it.

Scope

What we collect on Amazon.ae, and what we do not

The right column matters more than the left. Anyone can list fields; the limits are what tell you whether the dataset will hold up.

✅ What we collect

  • Import fees deposit where displayed, with landed price computed
  • Null rather than zero where no deposit is shown, since those differ
  • Cross-border flag with quoted lead time
  • Arabic and English listings linked to a canonical identity with confidence
  • Full offer list with seller identity and fulfilment type
  • VAT treatment recorded where the platform indicates it
  • Buy-box or featured-offer status where displayed
  • Records joinable to our Noon collection on product identity
  • Ratings and review text without reviewer profiles

❌ What we do not, and why

  • A landed price where the deposit is not displayed, which we leave null
  • Merged Arabic and English listings where match confidence is low
  • Seller Central or any credentialed Amazon system
  • Sales volumes, rank-derived estimates or seller economics
  • Reviewer names, profiles or review histories

Core Amazon.ae fields

The full dictionary is agreed during scoping. These are the fields specific to this platform.

Field What it is on this platform
asin Amazon identifier for this listing
product_key / dedup_confidence Canonical cross-script identity with confidence
listing_language ar or en, retained so duplicates remain inspectable after linking
price / currency Price and currency exactly as displayed
import_fees_deposit Displayed deposit on cross-border listings, null where not shown
landed_price Price plus deposit where both are available
is_cross_border / lead_time_days Cross-border status and quoted delivery lead time
vat_treatment Whether the displayed price includes tax, where indicated
seller_name / fulfilment_type Seller identity and fulfilment route
is_featured_offer Whether this is the offer shown by default
offer_count How many offers the listing carries
Use cases

What teams do with Amazon.ae data

Landed-cost offer comparison

Import fees deposits are captured with landed price computed, so the cheapest offer is the cheapest to receive rather than the cheapest before customs.

Accurate competitive density in a bilingual market

Arabic and English listings are linked to a canonical product, so competitor counts and share of listings reflect real products.

Cross-platform channel monitoring in the UAE

Records join to Noon collection with seller identity on both sides, so a seller operating across platforms is identifiable as one party.

Grey supply detection on cross-border offers

Cross-border flags with seller identity isolate the population where unauthorised supply often sits.

How we engage

Three ways to engage us

Same collection pipeline and QA underneath. The difference is who holds the schedule and how the data reaches you.

Managed service (most common)

We own the collection, the QA and the delivery. You receive clean data on a schedule and never touch a scraper.

  • Dedicated engineer assigned to your account
  • Site changes fixed by us, not reported to you
  • Scheduled delivery to your warehouse or S3
  • Named contact on Slack or email

Best fit: Teams who need the data, not the infrastructure.

API access

The same collection pipeline exposed as an authenticated REST endpoint your systems query directly.

  • On-demand and scheduled endpoints
  • Rate limits agreed to your load profile
  • Sandbox keys for integration testing
  • Versioned schema with deprecation notice

Best fit: Product and engineering teams building on live data.

One-time or project extraction

A defined pull for a specific question — market sizing, diligence, a pitch, a one-off audit.

  • Fixed scope agreed in writing upfront
  • Single delivery with full QA report
  • Methodology documented for your records
  • Converts to managed if you want continuity

Best fit: Research, strategy and diligence work with a deadline.

Pricing

Every engagement is quoted individually, because the honest answer depends on your scope: how many sources, how many records, how often, and how the data reaches you. We scope it with you, run a free pilot on your own sources, and then quote a fixed monthly figure — no per-request metering and no overage billing when volumes move. Request a quote and you will have a number after one call.

Amazon.ae is usually collected alongside its competitors

Almost nobody buys a single platform in isolation. Amazon.ae data becomes useful when it sits next to the competitor set on one schema, refreshed on one schedule, so a price index or availability comparison is genuinely like-for-like.

That is what amazon data scraping covers, and a Amazon.ae-only engagement can be expanded into it without rebuilding. If you already know you need several platforms, start there instead — it is the same pipeline and usually the better scoping conversation.

FAQ

Amazon.ae data scraping: frequently asked questions

Platform-specific questions, including what cannot be collected here.

A separate displayed amount on cross-border listings, forming part of what the customer pays at checkout. It varies by product, driven by category and value.

Dropping it inverts cheapest-offer logic: a cross-border offer priced below a local one can cost more once the deposit is added, and it is also slower. Almost every dataset throws this field away.

The field is null, not zero. Absent and zero are different facts, and defaulting to zero would silently make cross-border offers look cheaper than they are.

landed_price is also left null in that case rather than falling back to the item price, so a landed comparison either has the data or visibly does not.

Cross-script matching using transliteration, brand normalisation in both scripts, and ASIN and model comparison, with per-record confidence.

Where the same ASIN carries both language variants it is straightforward. The harder cases are separate ASINs for what is commercially one product, and those are where the confidence score earns its place. Uncertain matches are flagged rather than merged.

In this market, usually yes. Amazon is not the default channel here the way it is in the US or UK, so analysing the UAE on Amazon data alone describes roughly half of it.

Records join on product identity and market, with seller identity on both sides, so a seller listing on both platforms is identifiable as one party rather than two.

Same offer-level discipline, plus three UAE-specific requirements: the import fees deposit, cross-script deduplication, and VAT treatment.

Our main Amazon service covers the offer-list and featured-offer mechanics that apply across storefronts. This page covers what is different here.

We quote individually. Drivers are category or ASIN scope, whether full offer lists are required, whether cross-script deduplication is needed, and refresh frequency.

Running Amazon.ae and Noon together costs less than double, since product matching is shared. One scoping call, a free pilot within 24 hours, then a fixed monthly quote. Request a quote.
