How Actowiz Solutions set up MOP monitoring on quick commerce for an Indian D2C consumer-care brand, checking every SKU against its own price floor and capturing timestamped screenshots of each below-MOP listing.
A client needing proof when its products sell below MOP on quick commerce apps.
Actowiz Solutions built MOP monitoring for quick commerce for an Indian D2C consumer-care brand. We track the brand's own SKUs on Blinkit, Zepto and Swiggy Instamart, compare each live selling price with that SKU's MOP for that portal, and deliver an Excel report that lists every below-MOP listing with a timestamped screenshot as evidence.
The brand sells on India's leading quick commerce apps and sets a minimum operating price (MOP) for every product, which can differ by portal. It needed to know, with proof, when a listing dropped below that floor.
The client shared one MOP sheet per portal. The ask: check its SKUs on a schedule, flag every price below MOP, and attach a screenshot the commercial team can use as evidence.
We built one compliance pipeline that collects, matches, compares and documents each listing.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| portal | Blinkit, Zepto or Swiggy Instamart |
| city / pincode | Delivery location used for the check |
| brand_sku_code | SKU code from the client's master list |
| product_name | Product title as shown on the app |
| pack_size | Variant and quantity, used for matching |
| mrp | Maximum retail price shown on the listing |
| selling_price | Price the shopper pays at the time of the check |
| mop_threshold | Client-supplied MOP for that SKU on that portal |
| gap_to_mop | Difference between selling price and MOP, in rupees and % |
| screenshot_url / captured_at | Link to the evidence image and its timestamp |
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Use Case | MOP / price compliance monitoring for own SKUs |
| Region | India – selected cities and pincodes |
| Sources | Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart |
| Metrics | Selling price, MRP, discount, gap to MOP, evidence screenshot |
| Reconciliation / Method | Listings mapped to the brand master list by name, variant and pack size; checked against per-portal MOP sheets |
| Cadence | Scheduled checks (agreed per project) |
| Output | Excel report with screenshot links for each below-MOP listing |
“We needed proof, not just numbers — when our products sell below MOP, we need to show the listing as a shopper saw it. Actowiz gives us one report with every below-MOP flag and a timestamped screenshot attached.”
— E-commerce Lead, D2C Consumer-Care Brand
A: MRP is the legal ceiling: India's Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011, Rule 2(m), define retail sale price as the maximum price at which a packaged commodity may be sold to the consumer. MOP is a floor the brand sets for selling price. MAP is a floor on the advertised price, a term common in the US.
A: Deep discounts on one channel upset others. In 2025, India's distributor federation AICPDF asked FMCG companies for uniform MOP across channels.
A: A timestamped screenshot shows the listing as a shopper saw it, which makes a flag easy to verify and discuss.
A: We collect only public product and price data, respect site terms, never bypass logins and collect no personal data. This is not legal advice.
